STATEWIDE JOB FAIR FOR EDUCATORS

LANSING – The Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and Michigan Association of Superintendents and Administrators (MASA) are co-sponsoring a job fair for teachers, substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators.
The Statewide Educator Workforce Job Fair, scheduled for 2-6 p.m. Thursday, August 16 in Lansing, is free to jobseekers and local school districts, intermediate school districts, and public school academies.
“The Michigan Department of Education is proud to co-sponsor this job fair as part of its plan to become a Top 10 education state in 10 years and the goal of providing an effective educator workforce,” Interim State Superintendent Sheila A. Alles said today. “This job fair will connect school districts with educators wanting to make a positive difference in the lives of Michigan’s children.”
Talented educators seeking jobs for the 2018-19 school year are encouraged to:
Participating school districts are required to register through the above network to secure a booth.
The job fair will be at the Lansing Center, 333 E Michigan Ave, Lansing, 48933.
