If you are interested in more information regarding the MESSA ABC plan, please attend a meeting on Tuesday, October 20, at 4:30 in the board room at the ESC. Grace Romzick will be here from MESSA to explain the ABC plan to staff covered under Choices II as well as answer any questions for staff currently covered under the ABC plan.
I wanted to remind staff if you currently have an unreimbursed medical account through TASC, you will not be allowed to elect the ABC plan this year. The IRS does not allow individuals to have a health savings account as well as an unreimbursed medical account. The same rules apply to your spouse, therefore they cannot have an unreimbursed medical account as well.
